Must have driven about 500k today. Serena went to meet Kim at Silver City to watch a movie, and Alexias went to meet her old school mate to watch a different movie at a different location. But ... the location was wrong, so I ended up going back to where she was and taking her to the new place which was quite far away. Of course, their movies finished at different times.
Before that, I took them to the bank as they wanted to deposit their Hong Kong dollars they had saved and brought with them. Alexias ended up with around C$ 150, while Serena ... Serena had nearly a thousand. Canadian. We were all shocked, though Alexias less so as Serena almost never brings any money with her. I guess she has been just squirrelling it aways for the past few years. I do remember her giving me a fat wad of cash all rolled up just before we left Hong Kong "for safekeeping" but I had no idea it was that much.
