Everyone knows that some dishes taste better the second day, and meatballs in tomato sauce is no exception.
Sorry for the blurry egg; it was not my fault. I think the egg had something to do with it. I have half a mind to take the remaining eggs back to Loblaws and complain that their eggs are out of focus. I bet they'd give me my money back too, just to get rid of me.
After taking Alexias to work, Serena and I made a stop at Tom's Burgers, right there on Hwy 7. Good tasty burger, properly cooked fries - what more could you ask for? It has that GCF - Grease Credibility Factor - you look for in this kind of restaurant. Nothing, to me, is a more off-putting than having burger joints look and feel totally sterilized. I'm not saying Tom's has cockroaches doing swan dives into the ketchup but ... Either you know what I mean or you don't.
After work, Alexias opted for a slice from Pizza Pizza. Not bad. Not bad at all.
FOOD COSTS:
Tom's Burgers $ 13.00
Pizza Pizza $ 10.00
Tuesday total $ 25.00
Lost the receipt for these two so this is from memory ...
